Privacy Policy
Levity doesn't collect any data about you. There's no account, no tracking, and no analytics, and everything you add stays on your iPhone.
Effective October 12, 2026. This policy covers the Levity iPhone app and its widgets.
What we collect
Nothing. Levity doesn't collect, store, or share personal information, usage data, identifiers, location, contacts, purchase history, or anything else on our servers. We don't have servers for the app. The app doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else. Levity Plus purchases go through Apple, as described below.
What stays on your iPhone
To work, Levity saves these on your device:
- Quotes you type into My Quotes
- Verses and quotes you save or pin
- Your theme, any custom themes you make, and app settings
- Whether your Levity Plus subscription is active, so the widgets can use your themes
This data lives in an App Group, a private storage area on your iPhone that only the Levity app and the Levity widgets can read. It's never sent to us. Like other app data, it may be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer), which Apple and you control. We can't access them.
No accounts, tracking, or ads
- There's no sign-up or sign-in.
- Levity doesn't track you across apps or websites and doesn't use the advertising identifier.
- There are no analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app.
- There are no ads, and no advertising code is included in the app.
Things that go through Apple or other apps
- Levity Plus. The optional subscription is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account under Apple's Privacy Policy, and we never see your payment details or who you are. On your iPhone, Levity only asks Apple whether your subscription is active. Manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
- Sharing. When you tap Share, iOS hands the text or image to the app you choose, like Messages. That app's privacy policy applies. Levity doesn't see what happens after that.
- Links. Links in the app, such as BereanBible.com, open in Safari.
- Ratings. "Rate Levity" uses Apple's standard App Store rating prompt.
- Crash reports. If you've turned on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's Analytics settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Deleting your data
You can delete any quote you've added, and unsave or unpin any verse or quote, inside the app. To remove everything, delete Levity from your iPhone. That deletes all of its data and removes its widgets.
Children
Levity is suitable for everyone and doesn't collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If Levity ever starts collecting data, for example by adding ads, we'll update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before that version is released, and we'll change the effective date above.
